निर्बलकेन्द्रदिशा वै कोटविभंगाय कीर्त्तिता यवनैः । बहुबहुविस्तरभयतो न मया लिखितोऽत्र बुद्धितो ज्ञेयं ॥ नवनगतिथि १५७६ शकसम ये जातोऽयं पृच्छकवागानिद्यक्षर चतुथ्यइस्यवशकलेभ्यः । प्रस्तारं वा कुर्यादिधिना तेनैव पाशकाभावे ॥ मानसोपवने योयं कृयाकल्पलताकुरः।
स स्नेहाम्रतसारिण्या शतशाखा विधीयतामिति ॥ The MS. of India Office gives the real name of the author as Tripāthī Rudramaņi. The author would seem to have been born in 1658. There is a verse at the end of the 10. MS., which mentions Rāmacaritra as another work by the author.
