Substance, country-made paper. 94 x 54 inches. Folia, 14. Lines, 9 on a page. Extent in ślokas, 260. Character, Nāgara. Date, Samvat 1866. Appearance, tolerable. Prose and verse. Generally correct.
It contains Dhruvabhramaņādhi kāra, the second chapter only of the work.

The author's father's name is Nārmada in the colophon. In the opening verse he is described as Narmadānugrahalabdhajanman.
The object of the work:
“Description and use of an instrument for ascertaining from the position of the polar star the time of night at any given moment”-Bik. No. 631.
