The following have been dealt with in the book :-The creation of the world, birth of Brahmā, Visņu and Siva, practising of austerities by Brahmā, Visņu and Siva, glorification of the god Siva, birth of Gauri in the Himalayas, practising austerities by Siva, killing of the Asuras, Dhūmralocana, Sumbha, Nisumbha and others, glorification of Utkala, killing of Mahişāsura and glorification of the goddess Abhayā. This is unpublished. • The author was the disciple of Rāmananda Yati, the author of the Rāmāyana and Candimangala. Rāmakrsna was the name of his father and Harihadana his grandfather's name. He was the inhabitant of the Village Dharmadā in the District of Hughli. See Dr. Sen's History of Bengali Literature (in Bengali), Vol. I, p. 701.
