পতিত পা গ্রন্থমিদংশ্রীবল তবে বলিব তুমারে। মম ছার পাপিষ্ঠ জনে জদি কর দয়া।
পড়িয়া বহি প্রভু দেহ পদছায়া। ইতি শ্রীচৈতন্যসনাতনসংবাদে হরিনামপট্টল গ্রন্থ সংপূর্ণমস্তু। ইতি সন ১১১১ সাল তারিখ ১৯ আসাড়।

The subject-matter of Hamsadütakathä may be taken as a reply to Uddhava-Samvāda. After the departure of Sri Krsna from Vạndāvana a swan is being sent to Sri Krsna by the companions of Sri Rādhā as their messenger.
The swan conveys the messages of Rādhā, her companions, Nanda, Yasodā and the friends and constant companions of Sri Krsna in his boyhood-Śrīdāma, Sudāma etc., and informs Sri Krsna in detail of the pitiable condition of Vịndāvana, as it arises from his departure.
