The present MS has been described in L. I. 409. Another MS which omits some of the initial verses is described in L. IX. 2959. The hymn has been published in the Stotraratnākara (Madras, 1929, Part II, pp. 79-102). The present MS runs up to verse 71 of the printed edition.

This hymn consists of names of Kālī, all beginning with k. It is stated to belong to the Mahākālasamhitā. Beginning :
कैलासशिखरे रम्ये नानारत्नविभूषिते । नानाक्षलताकोणे नानापक्षिरवैर्युते ॥ चतुर्मण्डपसंयुक्त टङ्गारमण्डपान्विते । समाधौ संस्थितं शान्तं क्रौडन्तं योगिनीप्रियम् ॥ तत्र मौनधरं दृष्ट्वा देवी पप्रच्छ शङ्करम् ।
