This ms. does not tally with our ms. no. 525 4, the portion on Ušanaḥsmrti. It is altrgether a different version of the work, much more enlarged and not published either in the Calcutta Edition or in the Poona Edition, referred to. The ms, begins abruptly towards the end of chap. III but runs to the very end in chap. VII.
Beginning:
-दुर्गा विद्यन्ते । रथकाराम्बष्ठसतोग्रमागधवेनपुरकसकृताकुक्कुटपैदेहकुषागल(१)श्वपाकात्यप्रभृतयः। तत्र सवर्णासवर्णप्रामण्यां न क्षत्रियायां जातो प्राह्मण एव सः। वैश्यायामम्बष्ठः । शुद्धायां पारसवो निषाद इत्येके ।
End:
यथा हि वेदाध्ययनं धर्मशास्त्रमिदं तथा ।
अध्येतव्यं ब्राह्मणेन भूयः पुण्यमभीप्सता ॥ Colophon: इत्यौशमसे धर्मशास्त्रे सप्तमोध्यायः। समाप्तं चेदं धर्मशास्त्रम् ।
