The Ms. contains a hymn to Vagalamukhi, a goddess who, it is believed, scares away all obstacles, if propitiated. The procedure of reciting this hymn and the fruit thereof are also recorded in the Ms. Towards the end there are some stavas in obeisance to the goddess, too.
