The Ms. begins abruptly and ends to the end of the third part of the work. The work deals with a very interesting subject-viz. "a dissertation on the existence of a fifth caste". The work concludes that there is no fifth caste as Kāyastha and the like, all these are included in the Sudra caste. The dis. cussion is very informative.

-तिः संभवति। तस्मात् धर्मनिर्णयाङ्गभूतोयं जातिविचारो धर्मविचारमूलभूतेष्वेव शास्त्रेष्वन्तर्भवति तत्र यन्मनुरवदत्त पजमिति श्रवणात् वेदोखिलो धर्ममूलं स्मृतिशीले च तद्विदामिति स्मृतेश्च ।
