___ The Ms. deals with the प्रतिष्ठा of देवता (deity) that is, setting deity for worship. On the first folio some ślokas, intreductory to the work, are written in red ink by a late hand, it seems, on the top and below the body of the page. The first and many other ślokas of the printed edition are wanting in the present manuscript in the beginning.

महोमहत्समाराध्य जलोत्सर्गमथोक्तवान् । प्रतिष्ठां सर्वदेवानां नीलकण्ठो वदत्यसौ ॥१
संस्काराचारकालाः समुचितरचनाः श्राद्धनीती विवादो दानोत्सर्गप्रतिष्ठा जगति जयकराः संगतार्थानुबद्धाः । प्रायश्चित्तं विशुद्धिस्तदनु निगदिता शान्तिरेवं क्रमेण ख्याता ग्रन्थेऽत्र शुद्ध बुधजनसुखदा द्वादशैते मयूखाः ॥ (written on the top of fol. 1 B).
