The ms. is partly mouse-eaten. It is written in a beautiful bold hand. It begins abruptly but ends to the very end of the work. The ms contains a short Smộti digest on marriage, sraddha, asauca, etc. Beginning:
पादशेष पीतशेषं तु यद्गलं (?) सुरासमं तु तत्तोयं पर्युक्षणकृतं विना ॥ कणिष्ठानामिकाभ्यां च अङ्गष्टस्तु तृतीयकः ।
प्राणायाम प्रकुर्वीत तर्जनीमध्यमां विना ॥ End:
त्रिजटा सप्तपञ्चाशी अष्टपञ्चाशी जम्बुकी ।
भृगुरी नवपञ्चाशी पूर्णा पूर्णा च मोहिनी ॥ ३१६ ॥ Colophon:
इति देवयाज्ञिकविरचितः स्मृतिसारः समाप्तः । Post-colophon :
लिखितं नन्दमिश्रेण परोपकाराय ।
श्रीधरणीधरस्य पुस्तकम् ।

The ms. contains the beginning portion it seems, of the work noticed in our ms. no. 5457. There is no colophon in this ms. as it ends abruptly but comparing it with the mss. nos. 2143-2147 of H. P: Sastri's Cat. vol. III. P. 235, it is found that the author is the same Devayājñika or Yājñikadeva as he is called by Aufrecht. The ms. under notice ends abruptly. Beginning:
यज्ञोपवीतं कुर्वीत सूत्रेण नवतन्तुना । देवतास्तत्र वक्ष्यामि चानुपूर्वेण या स्मृताः ॥ १
