115. CANDRASEKHARA. He was the son of Sabdasess and is the commentator on the work of Ghanaśyama. His work is ;
Damarakavyakhya-A commentary on Damaraka. (No. 3793)
116, EKOJI. He is the son of Tulajā I. He was other wise named as Bhāvāji. His work is --Prapancāmstasārabangraba. (Nos. 7055 & 18909). Thera is a doubt whether this was composed by one Mabädeva & protege of the same ruler.
117. RĀMACANDRASEKHARA. He was patronised by Pratápasimba son of Tulaja. His work is-Kalánanda No. 4337
118. VANCHESVARA. He was a court post of Pratápasimha, the Mahratha ruler of Tanjore. He belongs to the family of the famous Govinda dikşita the minister of Cevra, Acyuta and Raghunātha Niyaka. Hir fore. fathers were among the donees of Shabarajapuram. Probably Ghanabyáma was bis rival. His work is Mahiga Sataka (No. 3946)
119. NILAKANTHA KAVI, He is the author of Spågårabataka (No. 3966). This work was composed in 1765 A. D. The author is the grandson of Váãohebyara, the author of the Mabiqabatake.
120. SHERFOJI. He was the son of Tulaja II. He was the wao mainly reg. ponsible for the development of the Sarasvati Mabel Library at Tanjore and collected many works from Benares. He patronised many scholars. He started many Sabhãs such as Dharma Sabbá, Nyâyasabha and Modritasabhā. Many Pandits were employed in all the Sabhas and we can gather from old Judgernents in several houses at Tanjore the names of about 83 scbolars. His court seal contains the following verse.
पार्वतीपरमेश्वरौ पूर्णचन्द्रनिभाननौ । सर्वधर्मविषौ मुदा साथको भवतां सदा ॥
