He was a disciple of Råmabhadramakhin and was patronised by Shahji. His work is Sabdabhedanirūpaṇa— (No. 5328) 75. APPÅDHVARIN.
He was the son of Cidambara Kavi, He is the author of Madanabhuṣaṇabhāņa (No. 4585). His other works are Gaurimă. yūracampū (No. 4035) and Ãcăranavanītam (No. 18048). He was patronised by King Shāhaji of Tanjore. There is an excellent article on Appadhvarin in the Journal of Oriental Research Vol. III.
76. COKKANATHAKAVI.
Cokkanatha, was a contemporary of Sahaji Maharaja (1684 -1710) and a court Pandit born of Narasamba and Tippadhvari.
Chokkanatha has written Kantimatiparinaya (No. 4339). He is also the reputed author of Rasavilāsabbāņa, and Sevantika Parinaya.
77. RANGARĀMĀNUJA.
He is the author of the Taittirfycpanigatprakātikā (Nos. 1674 -5) and the Bṛhadāraṇyakopaniṇatprakātikā (Nos. 1676-7). He is the disciple of Laksmana YogIndra. He is believed to have descended from the famous Tatacārya family of Sri Vaisnavas. He was a resident of Kancf and flourished during the last quarter of the 17th Century.
78. RAMACANDRADĪKṢITA.
He is the author of Keralabharana (Nos. 4031-4). He is a descendent of the famous Rajacudamaņi Dīkṣita and not far removed from him. He is also reputed to be the author of a Ramacandracampū.
