He was a great poot who was born in 1518 Saká or 1595. 96 A. D. of Srinivasärya near Knicípuram. He proceeded to Benares about his fortieth year and there wrote his famous work Råmacandrodaya Kávya (No. 3731) in 1557 baka or 1634-1635 A. D. and also composed his own commentary thereon (No. 3733)
56. VENKATESA. He was the son of Muthammá. His work is Nilakuộthavijayacampūvyåkbyā (No. 4060).

Ho is the author of Srágāramañjarīgibajiyam, a drama based on the life bistory of Sāhaji Maharaja of Tanjore. He was also known as Peri Appāsāstri, son of Angaśā strin, grandson of Krana and great grandson of Iswara,
The author's uncle was Vinateya who wrote a commentary on the Prakāśa. Dingimasărvabhauwa states that Auwäsästri vanquished Kamadeva in a controversy in the court of Venkatapati who gave bin a golden palanquia and the village called Erakaram. Annášāstri had three sons, oi whom the eldest Vaśranātharyadikşita was clever in commenting on the Siddhån jana and other works of Kromānandayatindra. The second son Was Vinateyasūri. The author was the third son and a favourite of King Sábaji. He was given the title of Kavitarkikasárvabhauma by bis teacher Krapānandayatindra.
