41. COKKANATHA MAKHI,
He is the son of Narayanadıkṇita and Ganapati (mother). He was one of the younger contemporaries of Nilakanthadikṣita. He refers in his Bhasya Ratnavali to his guru Sri Venkatesadhvari in very feeling terms as also to Nilakantha dikaita whom he holds in high esteem for his profound knowledge of the Sastras. Cokkanatha is the preceptor and father-in-law of the reputed Ramabhadra dikaita. Of Cokkanatha's works we know Sabdakaumudi (No. 5855), Dhaturatnavall (Nos. 5697-9). He is also the author of Bhagyaratnavali.

He was the son of Cokkanathamakhin. His title is Bala. patanjali. His work is

43. RĀJACŪRĀMANIDIKṢITA.
He was the son of Ratnaketa Srinivasadikṣita and Kāmākṣi and the grandson of Laksmivallabha and the great grandson of Krepabhatta of Visvamitra gotra and the disciple of Ardhanariéwara and Venkatesvaramakhi. He is the author of (1) Nyaya. karpuravarttika (No. 6921).
Rajacūḍāmaṇiḍīkṣita states in the introduction that he composed this at the command of his preceptor Venkatesvara dikeita who Was the son of Govindayajvan and Nagamamba. The author gives the date of the composition of the work to be the month of Sravana in the year Ivara corresponding to saka 1559 or 1637 A. D. He is also the author of (2) Tantrasikhamani (No. 6841) which is a commentary on the Mimamsāsūtras of Jaimini. It is also called Tantrarathasara. His other works are
