1. KRSNADEVARAYA. He is the prominent ruler of the Vijayanagar dynasty. In his coart he had eight great scholars named Aştadiggajas. Telugu literature attained its zenith in his court and a new fervour was given to Telugu. The Prabandhams began in his period. He was a great scholar in Sanskrit and Telaga. He ruled from 1509 to 1529. A. D. His work is
Jämbavatspariņaya (Nos. 4366-7) also called Jõmbavatikalyana.
2. JYOTIRĪSVARA. He is the author of Dbūrtasamågama (No. 4630). He is also known as Kaviáek hara Jyotiśvara. He lived in the opening years of the 16th century. He was patronised by Kiog Narasim. ha (1487-1507 A. D.)
3. RANGARĀJĀDH VARI. He is the author of Vivaraṇadarpaņa (No. 7064) and father of the famous Appaya Dikşita He was the court poet of Kiog Bomma who ascended the Godi in 1628 A. D.
4. DANDĀDHINĀTHA SĀLUVA TIMMAYA.
He is the author of & commentary on the Balabhārata called Manobarā (No. 3706). He was a court poet of the famous Kęppa Deva Röya of Vijayanagar.
5. TIRUMALĀMBĀ. She is the author of the Varadám bikäpariņaya (No. 4220) which narrates the story of the marriage of Varadâmbã with Aoyutarāya Mabäräja, King of Vijayanagar, who ascended the
