अङ्गीकार्या मत्कृतिर्निर्मलेयं कस्मादेवं पण्डितान्प्रार्थयेऽहम् । क्षीरं पेयं नीरमेतद्विहाय को वा विज्ञ हंसमज्ञोऽर्थयेत ॥ ५९ ॥ After this a diagram of स्थण्डिलमानं also is given.
The author belongs to Krapatrigotra and calls himself the son of Bubasarman. This Vitthala Dikaita should be distinguished from the author of this same name son of Vallabhācārya otherwise called Gosanyji. The author mentions himself as belonging to Madhyandinasakhs in the commentary of this work which he has himself written. He is a North Indian and wrote this work in Benares as he says in one of the concluding verses. The author appears to have written this in A. D. 1430.
