Remarks: The Ms. is in a fairly good condition. The author of this work was a native of Kumbakonam and his father the Rajaguru of Naik Kings of Tanjore. His descendants are still living in the Paṭṭaracarya street and is the author of works like Kokilasandesa and Pärijataharana.
Acharya Shri Kailassagarsuri Gyanmandir
His father's full name was Caturvedi Batakratu Srinivasa Kumāra Tātācārya and this author was also known as Venkatarya. His Kokilasandesa and Nigamanta Desikanāmāṣṭottaragatam were published at Kumbakonam, but this work has not been published. The author was a desciple of Venkata Desika. This author might have flourished in the latter part of the seventeenth century A. D.
