Of the above authors, Rangarå månaja is a prolific writor, having written commentaries on the most iinportant Upanigade, the Brahmasūtrabhünya vyåkhya and the Gitäbhäqya. Venkatācārya was the son of the famous Satakrata Srloiväsa Tātācărys the Guru of the Nāyak Kings of Tanjore. Both belonged to the latter part of the 17th century A D. and the latter was also the author of a Kävya called Kokilasandeba.
II. DVAITA (Nos. 1814-8168)
Anandatsrtha's works form the pivot round which the major portion of works in this section revolves. The works in this section are also divided in the same manner as those in Advaita.
(i) Those in the first two subdivisions are Åpandatirtha's works and commentaries, saper-co:n mentaries or glosses thereon. The founder of this school was a very prolific writer aud he has found an able commentator in Jayatirtha one of the greatest of the Dvaitic writers. Jayatlrtba has commented upon almost all the works of Anandatirtha. Among the actual members of the heirarchy of Madhya Ācāryas and other gatis the following famous names appear among the authors in this section,
