6891 जश्रीगोकुलनाथचरणकतानश्रीविठ्ठलविरचितं विद्वन्मण्डनं
संपूर्णम् । एतेनास्मत्कुलपतिः श्रीगोपीजनवल्लभः । प्रीतोस्त्वस्मासु तेनैव पूर्णता किमिहापरैः ।। [सं १७१४]वर्षे आषाढवदि (संवत्) १७१५ शके १५८० प्रवर्तमाने चैत्रवदि ९ दिने गुरूवासरे लिखितमिदं सूर्यपुरे
राजर्षिरावलेन । Subject: Vidvanmandanam a treatise on the theology of
the cult of Krishna as the Supreme Being. Remarks: The Ms. is in a fairly good condition. On the title page is given
'भास्कररायाणामिदम् ।' This Ms, is dated 1715 Samvat, or 1580, Saka, or A. D. 1668.
This author is called by three names Vitthala, Vitthala Diksita und Vitthaleśvara and is popularly known by the name Gosainji in Northern India. He is the son of the great Vallabhåcårya the author of Anubhāşya on the Brahmasutras and commented on some of his father's works. This work is printed in Benåres Sanskrt Series with the commentary called Suvarna Sätra by Gosvami Purapottamji Mahārāj and even there is incomplete.
