दानीं सत एव ज्ञानातिरिक्तनाशकेन तिरोभावलक्षणो नाशः क्रियते । न तार्किको क्तौ जनिताशौ कुतः क्रियाफलसंयोगात् करोति घटं नाशयति घटमित्यादिना धात्वर्थक्रियाफलयोरुत्पत्तिनिवृत्त्योस्सम्बन्धप्रतिपादनात् । न हि पूर्वमसतो जायमानधर्मान्तर सम्बन्धः क्वापि दृष्टः सम्भवति वाऽतिप्रसक्तेरित्याद्यन्यत्र विस्तरः । एतत्सर्वं कथनं कार

Remarks:-The Ms. is in a fairly good condition.
This is a Vṛtti on Sandilya Sutras. This is not published. The Me. is an incomplete one and so complete detail about the author is wanting. It is doubted if this author is the same as the author of commentaries on Sankhya and Yoga Sutras and Viśvanātha's Karikavall, and the disciple of Rama - govinda. But the similarity of the name coupled with the fact that it is on the sutras only that the author has commented in all Darśanas which he dealt with lends weight to the question of identity.
