With profuso quotations from the Upanipads down to the minor pūrañas, this work establishes that Siva is the Brah. man of the Upaniqads and that He is the Supreme God. Towards the end of this Mg. we have a commentary on the Catussūtri of the Brabia Sūtras from the points of view of Sankara and Śrika tha. In the lengthy discussion forming the main part of the work, all other Vedäptic Acâryas are cited and criticised.
The father of this author Rangojibhatta is different from his Damesake, the brother of the famous Bhattojidikqita.
