A DBSORIPTIVE CATALOGUE OM
from the author of The Agama worke. There is no evidence for this dualism. We have seen in Vol. XI of this catalogue that Bhoja and Aghoraśiva were authors of Yoga works. (Vide preface to detailed contents of Vol. XI). This lends algo to the view of oneness of the authors.
From the works of Sadyojyotis, Aghora śivācārya, and Bhojarāja we see they were written at a time prior to the Brahmasūtras being harnessed by Srikantha to prove Saivād. vaitā, because they were merely based on Āgamas. By that time Saivism remained only as a Bhāgavata or Bhakti cult and did not attain the status of a distinci syat. La of philosophy vying with Vibistadvaita. This accounts for the view that these works were prior in date to the Bbāsya of Srikaộtha. This athur is the uisciple of Sarvajiabivācārya.
