Råma Sūri the author of this commentary on Appayyadikşita's Sikhariņmālāstotra, (on which the author himself has written the commentary, Siyatattvaviveka) is a native of Natarajapura. He is the pupil of one Yagneśvara, living in Govindapura, a village near Kumbhakonam. Rama Suri Frote this tīkā called Padayojanikā, for the pleasure of one Baladhvarin. The colcphon calls the author Dravida Råma
barma.
