यथोचितं सेवनतत्परा वा।
विनापि सेवामपि संस्थिता वा। सदा समीपास्थितलधमाना

इति चिरन्जीवभट्टाचार्यकृत विद्वन्मोदतरङ्गिण्या, सप्तमस्तरङ्गः ।। Subject: Vidvanmodatarangini. A treatise giving preference
to the Draita school and refuting the theories of the
other schools of philosophy. Remarks - The Ms. is in a fairly good condition. This Ms. abraptly ends towards the close of tho eighth taranga.
The work is not printed. The author appends a long introduction to the work wherein he gives many details about himself and his family, and that it belonged to the Northern India, that it was a very learned family and that he studied at Benaros. The following geneology may be gleaned from the introduction. One Daksha is said to be the family ancestor. From Dakeha the seventh decendant was one Kašinitha.
