Remarks :-The Ms. is in a fairly good condition. This Ms. ab
ruptly breaks off in the middle of the 4th Päda of the II Adhyāya. The other work contained herein is 'Brahma. នUtra.
Rāmānuja died about 1137 A. D. Hie more prominent works are
SrIbhäşya-a commentary on the Brahmasūtras. Vedāntasära--a smaller commentary on the Sūtras. Vedāntadipa--a Summary of his Bhagya Gita Bhagya. -A commentary on Gitä. Vedärthasangraha---a running co:12 ment on portions of
some Upanigads.
He was the pupil of Sri Alavandâr or Yamunācārya on whose Stotraratna also Rémánuja has commented. Of the several editions of the text of the Sri Bhagya, the edition published by the Ananda Press Madras, deserves mention. Of the several English Translations of the text, Thibaut's translation in the Sacred Books of the East Series and Prof. Rangacharya's Edition printed at Madras desorve notice,
