एतत्क्षेत्रं महापुण्यं यत्र शेते परः पुमान् ।

इह भुक्मा बहुविधान् राजभोगान्यथेप्सितान् । मम लोके च रमतात्कालमाचन्द्रतारकम् ॥ इति नारद यन्मा त्वं पृष्टवान् तन्मयाखिलम् । उक्त वर्षशतैर्वृत्तमक्यं विस्तरेण हि ॥ पुण्यकांद्रिः सदा तंत्र स्थातव्यमनम्युमिः ।
अभिख्यातं ततस्तीर्थमैन्द्रमिन्द्रपदप्रदम् ।। Colophon इति आग्रेयपुराणे कुम्भकोणमाहात्म्ये षट्शततमोऽध्यायः ।
Subjeet: Kumbhakopamāhitmya, Adhyayas 17-108. Remarks-The Ms. is in good condition, This deals with the
greatness and importance of the place Kumbhakoram where the presiding god is Sri Bāraágapāņi. This is according to the Vaiņqava Brāhmaṇa Version The opening verse is about Vedintadesiks. Perhaps the Ms. belonged to one of his disciples. There is one more Mābåtmya of this name in Brahmapdapurana.
