This is the work of Raghunathanāyak of Tanjore, also called Achuta Raghanāthabhūpāly, the third Telugu Náyak ruler of Tanjore. He ruled the Chola country in the laiter part of 16th century and early part of the 17th century. He was a great patron of letters and had great poets like Yegñadārāyana and Rājacüdāmapi. He is also the author of Sangstasudha & work on music. He is reputed to be the author of & Rāmāyada in Telugu wbich Madhuravāni, a court poetess of his, translated into Sanskrit. But that Rināyana has pot been found yet. He is also the author of some Telugu works only one of which Välmskicaritam is preserved in this library.
