After the colopbon is seen " बहुधान्यनामसंवत्सर फाल्गुणबहुल ४ गुरुवारंवरकु वुप्पलबेंगल
य्यकुमारुंडु सूरय्य वाशिन श्रीमद्रामायणं सप्तकांडलु एक
संपुटम् ॥" There is a good edition of Ramiyaga from Bombay with three commentaries, Tilska of Rāmavarma, Siromapi, and Bhūgana of Govindarāja edited by Srinivasa Mudbolkara. This is generally called Ādikávya but all scholars bave included this among the Epics. Portions of this Epic are recitod by orthodox Brahmins.
