K. Kuppuswami Sastri in 1913-16. This work is attributed to Madhava Vidyaranya by some and to Madhava son of Caunda by others. The British Museum Catalogue consists of both the statements (Vide page 554 under Madhava son of Chavunda and Page 807 under Sutasamhita). The former is " वैदिकमार्गप्रवर्तक" and the latter ' उपनिबन्मार्गप्रवर्तक'. called The colophon contains the latter title, In this connection vide Sources of Vizianagar by 8. K. Iyengar, introduction page 8.
