प्रष्मिौ भिथुने रवी गुरुदिने ज्येष्ठे दशम्यां तिथौ। पर्वारण्यकमादरेण लिखितं श्रीवेङ्कटेशेन य.
द्राजश्रीकरुणांबुराशितुलजाराजाज्ञया भारते ।
आत्राध्यापशते द्वे तु संख्यया परिकीर्यते । एकोनसप्ततिश्चैव तथाध्यायाः प्रकीर्तिताः॥ एकादशसहस्राणि श्लोकानां षट्शतानि च । चतुःषष्टिस्तथा श्लोकाः पर्वण्यस्मिन्प्रकीर्तिताः ।।
The commentary is not as such in the strict sense of the term. It gives only the meaning of difficult words here and there. There is no clue to trace the author. The Ms. is dated A. D. 1704 and is written by one Venkateqa at the bidding of Tulajārāja.
