Remarks:-The Ms. is in a fairly good condition. The name of
the author's Guru appears to be Väsudevendra Yogindra from the introductory verse; but the colophon gives the author's name also as Vasudevendra. Probably the author and his guru bore the same name. Whether the author is the same as the author of Cidacidgranthiviveka. (No. 7670.) or the latter's Guru deserves further investigation.
Tattva bodha is a very familiar work and is printed in many places and is translated into many North and South Indian Vernaculars. This work is ascribed to Sa åkaricáry& as also to Vasudevendra. This Ms. does not give us any room for suspicion because the colophon clearly states Vásu. devendra as the author.
