The other work contained herein is a fragment of the Upadeśasāhasrl.-Padya Grantha, with commentary. Vide No. 7218 (Vol. XII.) This work, Siddbāntatattva is by Anantadeva, the father of Åpadeva, who has written Mimāmsānyayaprakāba and Bilabodbins. Anantadeva's father also was called Apadeva. He inust not be confounded with his grandson, Ananta deva II, the author of a commentary on Āpadeva's Nyāyaprakába and Smptikaustubha. Thus the author of the Siddbāntatattva lived in the end of the 16th century. He is the pupil of Rāmatirtha, a commentator on the Sankgepa Sárfraka. Vide pp. 100-102, J. O. R. Madras Vol. II. 1928. The work has been published in "the Pandit” Series, Benares. He is also the author of a commentary on Tattva. prakfiyā.
