The author of this work is Abhinaya Nārāyanendrabaras. vati's papil, Paramasivendrasarasvati, by pame.
The work is an elaborate and immensely informing commentary on a thousand names of the Brahman, occurring in the Upanişa ds. The work, in a brief introduction points out the importance of Ātmānusandbāna-meditation to help which it proposes to explain the innumerable Upaniga dio words connoting the Brahman. The collection of such Dames is the author's own work. They are commented in alphabetical order. The first Khanda ends (p. 114) with names beginning with vowels and other 2 Kbandas comment on names beginning with consonants.
The profuse purānic and other Anuatub quotations in the body of the work have induced Dr. Burnell to romark that this proge work is "chiefly in Slokas'..
