The manuscript wants conclusion. A work by name Mabāvākyadarpaņa which is ascribed to Sankara is published with a metrical Telugu translation from Ellore by K. Pattābhiramasarma. The supplementary catalogue of the British Museum at page 1135 mentions this work to be the same as the present Ms. The verse
श्रीगुरुं भारतातीर्थ विद्यारण्यं मुनीश्वरं
lends support to the view that Bharatītīrtha and Vidyaranya are different persons.
