Bbäskaradiksita, tbe author of this work is identical with the author of the Taptamudrăvidrivana. From his own verses, we come to know that his father, Umāmabesvara was very learned and was the disciple of the famous Sri Nșsimbośramin. One Umámaheśvara is the author of two Vedantic works named Advaita kā madhenu and Tattvacan. driba. If he as is said here is his father, be was a disciple of Nřsimhāśrainin and a contemporary of Dharmarájādhvarin and should have fourished in 17th century A. D. The author states that he belongs to a village Konerirajapuram and is of Hörsta gotra. This author along with another Rāmāoandzyati is & disciple of Krsņānandayati to whose work Siddhantasiddhāñjanam he wrote a commentary called Ratnatülika.
