Remarks:--The Me. is in a fairly good condition.
This work is called Anekārthamañjarl and it is not known who the author is. Many of the verses cited herein resemble those found in the Anekārthasamuccaya of Sasvata. The colophon in this manuscript makes us believe that this forms part of a bigger work by name Sabdaratnapradipaḥ, wbich work is not known at present.
In the Dvädaśakośasangraha, published long ago from Benares, a work by name Anekārthadhvanimanjars by one Mahäkaapaņaka was included and the present work bears much resemblance to it.
The name of the Kośa appears in some Mss. as Anekārthapadamañjari, in some as Anekārthadhvanimanjars and in others as Anekārthamañjarl.
