Yajñanarayana Dikşita is already familiar to us as the author of two works, the Sābityaratnikara and the Ragha. näthābhyudaya, both treating of the achievements of his patron, Raghunathanāyaka, King of Tanjore. The present work forms the third of the group. Almost all the stanxas in the work praise the doings of Raghunathanayaka. The work is similar to the Prataparudriya," Raghunathaniyaka taking the place of Prataparudra in this work.
