Bhatta -Laksminātha is the author of this commentary. He tells us that he is the son of Rāıniyanabbatha. The date of the composition is given as samvat 1007, correspon. ding to '1609 A. D. The present Mg, is dated daka 1654, corresponding to 1682 A. D. Probably the Ms. was copied from the anthor's original itself. The work does not seem to bave been printed so far,
