सामराजदीक्षितस्य ॥ Subject : Medinskoba. Remarks:--On the last sheet is given:
सामराजीयपुस्तके बालाजी पन्थानिदिधलातीनि मेदिनीकोश न्याय. सूत्र चित्रपटी।
The author of the Medini calls himself Priyakarasūnu, son of one Prāņakara. We do not know his real name. The date of this author is still open to doubt. Dr. Bhandarkar regards him as later tham Sayans in which case, the earliest date of the author may be only the 15th century. Others regard him as earlier than Mallinātha. The work has been published by the Chowkhamba Press, Benares. The present Ms. is dated Samvat 171 -? The last digit is missing. Anyhow the Ms. belongs to the 17th century (about 1850 A. D.).
