दान्तुरापरिणयम् The author of this farce, Dhūrtasamāgama is one JyotirlaVara Kavisekhara His father was Dhanesvara and his grandfather Ramešvara. This family seems to have been patronised by the Vijayanagar king Narasimha (A. D. 14871507.) The farce therefore belongs to the 16th century.
As the name itself indicales a number of villains, five in number, run after a lady, each to possess her.
The farce has been edited by Prof. Lassen in Bond and la. ter on in the Nirnayasagara Press, Bombay.
