________________ Shri Mahavir Jain Aradhana Kendra www.kobatirth.org Acharya Shri Kailassagarsuri Gyanmandir happens to be either a Deva,or & Rākausa. Among the sentiments the Vira holds the predominant position. The drame. should consist of 8 acts. VITAI. Sometimes the number of actors may be, in this variety of drama, two and sometimes only one. It resembles the bhana variety to & large extent. ANKA. This variety depicts the sentiment of pathos in a remarkable degree. The heroes are ordinary common folk, IRĀMĄGA. The Inīmīga is usually made up of 4 acts. The story depicted is partly unknown and partly known. The whole action should be very tragical, though the actual death of anybody is not shown on the stage. These ten are the main varieties of the drama. There are many qub-varieties and their definitions have been stated in works like Sahityadarpaqa. Some of the more important of the anthors that are represented in the Mog, belonging to this library are noted below. MURĀRI. With the Anargharaghava of Murári most of us are familiar. It has been noted in the Remarks on No. 4247 that at least 4 Muräriş are known at prosent. The problem of the identification of the author of the Anargharághava is bound to remain unsolved till we are able to bigat any definite information regarding him, For Private and Personal Use Only
