Remarks:-The Ms. is in good condition.
The Mrcchakatika is one of the oldest of Sanskrit dramas. The exact date of the drama is still unsettled; but it is certain that, at any rate, it is older than Vamana of the 8th century.
The drama deals with the story of Carudatta, once a wealthy and influential man, and his love to Vasantasenā.
The work is available in print, having been published in the Bombay Sanskrit Series.
