The Kundamálā has been published in the Dakainabh&rata series, under the editorship of Messrs M. Ramakrana Kavi. M. A, & S. K. Ramanathasastriar. The work has been pab. lished in the name of Dionāga and it gave room to a good deal of speculation regarding the contemporaniety of Kálidäsa and Dinnaga and their mutual relations. The name of the author appears in both the Mss. in this library as Dhiranäga.
A perusal of the work will convince anybody that the author of the Kundamālā could not have been a Buddhist; for, even au indirept reference to the Buddha. And his followors is absent in this work.
The work deals with the story of the Uttarakända of the Ramiyana.
