Colophon:
इति श्रीहंसदूताल्यं काव्यं समाप्तम् ॥ Sabjoet:- Hamsasandela 140 blokas. Remarks :--The Ms. is in good condition. After the colophon is
given the following: - 'यमाधारं सर्वागमनमणिगणानां सुकृतिनो
विदुर्गापालास्यं सकलविबुधालाकृतिवरम् । तदोत्थश्रीमानवनिसुरविख्यातमाहमा
महाचार्यः कुष्णोत्तरगपदरामामिध इदम् ॥ खबाणानक्षोणीगणितशरदिश्यामदलगा
मधोः षष्ठीवारो हिमकरसुतस्यापि शुभदः । । मत:कालो यब प्रगुणहृदयानन्दजननं
व्यलेखीत्सत्काव्यं परमरमणीयं परमुदा ॥ युग्मम् ॥' and on the title page is given : श्रीसर्वविद्यानिधानकवीन्द्राचार्य सरस्वतीनां हंसदूताख्यं काव्यम् ॥
The author of the work is unknown. The information given on the title page leads us to believe that this Ms. should bave formed part of the collection of the famous Kavindräcarya who was living in Benares in the 17th century.
The Ms. is dated 1850-bat whether it is Baka or Samval, we cannot say. Probably it was samvat. The scribe was one Rimakroa.
This iamsssandesa, otherwise known as Hamsadita om. bodios the love message sent by Sri Krona to his beloved Ridhi.
