Whether the ancestor of Cidambara (i.e.) Süryanārāyaṇa was identical with any of the two Suryanarayanas referred to above is not clear.
VENKATESA.
Acharya Shri Kailassagarsuri Gyanmandir
This is another Venkataša known to us. He is the author of the Citrabandharamayana (Nos. 3772-73) wherein the story of the Rāmāyaṇa is composed in verses of various bandhas. The father of Venkatesa (i. e.) Yajñanarayana, son of Kopdubhattopa dhyaya has commented upon his son's composition (Nos. 377475.) The one thing that we know of this author is that he is an Andhra, his surname Carakuri suggests it.
BILHANA
Bilhana is familiar to us as the protegé of Vikramānkedeva, the Calukya king who reigned between 1076-1112 A.D. at Kalyana. His Corapancasika is preserved in this library (Nos. 3781-91).
JAGANNATHA.
Several Jagannathas are known to Sanskrit literary history. One is the author of the Rasagangadhara and other works. Another was a protege of the Tanjore Maharasha Court.
