The author of this kavya Padmagupta, otherwise known as Parimala Kalidasa should not be coufounded with the famous poet. In several places in literature we find verses cited in the name of Parimala and probably they are taken from this work. This work has been published in the Bombay Sanskrit Series under the title Navasahasankacarita.
