A DÉSORIPTIVE OATALOQUB OF व्यापादितः । अतोऽहं ब्रवीमि “ कुश्रुतं कुपरिज्ञानम् " इति । मूढो नष्टमतिश्चैव धनहीनश्च यो नरः । निरस्तश्वेतरैश्चैव भस्मन्याहुतयो यथा ॥ त्वमपि तादृश एव मूर्खः । तथा चसहसा विदधीत न क्रियां
अविवेकः परमापदा पदम् । घृणुते हि विमृश्य कारिणं
गुणलुब्धाः स्वयमेव संपदः॥
Colophon: इति श्रीसमाप्तमसंप्रेक्ष्यकारित्वं नाम पञ्चमं तन्त्रम् ॥
इति पञ्चतन्त्री समाप्ता ॥

Remarks:-The Ms. is in good condition.
There are several recensions of the Pañcatantra. This recension belongs to the south and is the smaller of the two recensions. It is notewortny that in the passage given here there is a verse from the Kirātārjuniya of Bhāravi. It therefore follows that this compilation should have been made after the 8th century.
