SANSKRIT MANUSCRIPTI भगवत इह मुक्तेस्साधन अवमुक्तेः
सकलभुवनरक्षादीक्षितस्यास्तु वःश्रीः ॥ इत्याका महेशस्य वैभवं सूतभाषितम् । गौरीमायूरमाहात्म्यं मुमुदे मुनिमण्डली ॥ इति विरचितमप्पादीक्षितेनेश्वरस्य
क्षितिधरपतिकन्यामान्यवामानकस्य । गुणगणमणिमालालङ्कृतं गद्यपयैः
धरत हृदि बुधेन्द्राः साधु चम्पूप्रवन्धम् ।। सन्तश्चमत्कृतिमिमां सरसार्थपद्य
गये चमत्कृतिमुमाकमितुर्गुणाढ्याम् । आलोक्य मत्सरविनाकुतबुद्धियोगा:
तुप्यन्तु मत्सरसतापरितुष्टचिचाः ॥ Colophon:

This Kävya deals with the mythological greatness of Máyavaram in the Tanjore Distict. The author, Appādhvarin was & native of Kilayűr near Māyavaram and was living at the end of 17th and beginning of the 18th centuries. There is an excellent article on Appādhvarin in the Journal of Oriental Research, Vol. III. This work is not available in print.
