यस्कदस्यामिना विश्वापाट् प्रजापतिर्मनसा कृत्तिका मधुब समिदिशां द्वादश'॥ Giving the beginning of each Anuvāka: (2) 'रश्मिरसि प्रतिधेनुमसि स्तनायित्नु सनिरस्यादित्यानां सप्तत्रिं.
शत्' ॥ Giviug the beginning of the first, eleventh and thirtieth Psicãdi and the total number of Pancãdis on the whole: (3) 'रश्मिरसि को अद्य युके' ॥ Giving the first and the last words of the fourth Prapathaka of the fourth Kända of the Taittirlya Samhitä.
