___ उत्तरत एत्य हविः शेषोदासनादि । सूक्तवाके आज्य• भागदेवतयोरुझितिमुक्त्वा , अग्नये पथिकृत इदं, अग्ने पथि कृतोऽहमुझितिम् । अग्नये वैश्वानरायेदम् , अग्नेवै. श्वानरस्याहमुझितिम्।ऐपा(१) अश्मन सामे सत्याशीत्यादि"यज्ञो बभूव" यज्ञशंचमवर्ज सर्व समानं ब्राह्मणतर्पणान्तम् । ततः परं प्रकृतिं कुर्यात् । हरिः ॐम् ।।

details of the Pathikṣdvai vānaristi which is a prayag. cita ritual to be performed by the yajamána when he somehow or other has not been able to perform the Darsapürņamāsa sacrifice in its prescribed timeDarsa (new moon) and paurnamāsya (full moon).
